What Plastic Surgery SEO Services Include

ProStar SEO is a plastic surgery SEO company working with practices in English and French across the United States and Canada. We publish our plastic surgery SEO packages at $2,000 to $6,000 a month, we publish the index that measures this page, and we print our own row in it at whatever rank the instrument gives us. Few agencies in this market publish any of those three things.

A plastic surgery practice does not buy rankings. It buys booked consultations from patients already searching for a named procedure in a specific city. Everything below describes how we get from one to the other, what it costs, and how you can check the claim.

What plastic surgery SEO has to accomplish for your practice

Plastic surgery is a considered purchase with a long patient journey. A prospective patient researches a procedure for weeks, compares surgeons across several practices, reads before-and-after galleries, checks reviews on Google and Healthgrades, and only then requests a consultation. A plastic surgery SEO strategy has to serve every stage of that journey rather than only the final commercial query.

Contextual density builds plastic surgery SEO topical relevance

Most plastic surgery SEO agencies will tell you their content is high quality. None of them will tell you what they measured. ProStar SEO publishes the number: this page carries 144 of the 188 contextual terms that define the “plastic surgery seo services” market, against 84 for the best-covered competitor page in Google’s US top 30. Every rival page on this page’s ranking table was measured with the same script, on the same term list, on the same day.

That measurement is the whole of our plastic surgery SEO services. We reverse-engineer the pages that already rank, count what they cover, and build a page that covers more of the market’s vocabulary at a higher contextual density than any of them. Two results from that method: a brand-new Dallas practice went from zero to 1,494 ranking keywords in twelve months, and a Montreal aesthetic surgery clinic grew from 1,152 to more than 4,800 ranking keywords with first-page positions rising from 217 to 746.

Technical SEO for Plastic Surgery Websites

On-page SEO and content strategy for plastic surgery practices

Keyword research and target audience mapping

Keyword research maps the target audience against procedure demand in your service areas. We separate commercial and transactional queries, which go to procedure pages and landing pages, from informational queries, which go to educational content that links back to them.

On-page optimization

On-page optimization covers titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and image alt text. It is unglamorous and it is where most plastic surgery practices leave the largest gap, because procedure pages are frequently written once and never revisited.

Content creation and content writing

Content marketing for a surgical practice is a credibility exercise before it is a traffic exercise. We build a content strategy from content gaps in your market, then produce high-quality content answering real patient questions about procedures, recovery and cost. Plastic surgery content carries medical claims, so drafts go to the practice for clinical review before publication

Search behavior in the aesthetic market

Patients searching for cosmetic procedures search by procedure name rather than by specialty, compare surgeons openly, and weigh visual evidence heavily. Search behavior here rewards procedure-specific pages over a single services page, and it rewards practices whose galleries are crawlable rather than locked inside a slider no search engine can read.

High-intent patients, near me searches and why SEO for plastic surgery is different

High-intent patients search differently from patients still researching. Near me searches, surgeon-plus-city queries and procedure-plus-cost queries all signal a patient close to booking. Those queries belong on procedure pages and location pages, not on a blog post, and separating them is the single most common fix we make on a plastic surgery website.

Why local search decides most plastic surgery SEO campaigns

Surgery is bought locally. Local searches and local pack visibility convert at a rate no national ranking matches, because a patient who cannot reach your office will not book. Local signals, local citations, a properly configured Google Business Profile and consistent listings across medical directories decide whether your practice appears at all when a patient searches for a plastic surgeon nearby.

Procedure page optimization: where plastic surgery website SEO is won

Procedure pages are where plastic surgery SEO is won. Each operation needs its own page, written for the patient researching that operation, with keyword research mapped to how patients actually phrase it. Below are the procedure pages we build most often. Each follows the same structure: what the procedure is, who it suits, what recovery involves, what it costs, and the surgeon’s own results.

Breast augmentation and breast procedures

Breast augmentation carries the highest search volume in most markets and the highest competitive density. The page has to answer implant type, sizing, recovery and cost without reading as a brochure, and it has to carry before-and-after galleries with proper structured data.

Mommy makeover pages

A mommy makeover combines procedures and therefore competes for a query patients use before they know the clinical terms. The page needs to bridge the patient’s language and the surgeon’s, and it typically earns internal links from several other procedure pages.

Facelift and facial plastic surgery

Facial plastic work draws an older, more research-heavy audience that reads more pages before converting. Educational content matters disproportionately here, and so do trust signals: credentials, society membership and named clinical authorship.

Body contouring and minimally invasive procedures

Body contouring and minimally invasive procedures sit between surgical and med spa demand, and the queries overlap with non-surgical alternatives. Pages have to be honest about which results require surgery, which is a content decision with real conversion consequences.

Reconstructive surgery pages

Reconstructive surgery draws referral traffic and insurance-driven queries rather than elective aesthetic demand. It usually deserves its own section of the site with its own internal linking, separate from cosmetic procedures.

Hair transplant and adjacent services

Hair transplant demand behaves like ecommerce SEO in its comparison patterns: patients price-shop across clinics and read reviews obsessively. Pages need cost transparency and a visible results library.

Med spa SEO and medical aesthetics

Med spa SEO and medical aesthetics work shares a technical foundation with surgical practice SEO, but the patient journey is shorter and the competitive landscape is more local. Practices offering both need the two kept distinct in the site architecture so that med spas do not cannibalize surgical queries.

Technical SEO for plastic surgery websites

Best SEO practices for plastic surgery start below the content. The items in this section are the ones we fix first, in this order.

Technical SEO removes the reasons a page cannot rank. Plastic surgery websites carry heavy galleries and video, so site performance problems are the norm rather than the exception.

Crawlability, indexation and site structure

We work through crawlability and indexation first, because a page search engines cannot reach cannot rank regardless of its content. Site structure and URL structure follow, then internal linking, so that authority flows from the homepage to procedure pages rather than pooling on the blog.

Page speed and Core Web Vitals

Page speed and Core Web Vitals are a gallery problem on most practice sites. Compressing and lazy-loading before-and-after images usually recovers more than any other single technical fix.

Mobile optimization

Most patient research happens on a phone. Mobile optimization means click-to-call architecture and readable procedure pages, not a desktop page that technically fits a small screen.

Schema markup and structured data

Schema markup tells search engines what a page is. We implement structured data for the practice, for each procedure, for reviews and for FAQ content, which is also the foundation that answer engines read.

The website audit

Every engagement opens with a website audit and an SEO audit covering technical health, content gaps, competitors, keyword rankings and local visibility. The audit produces a roadmap ordered by expected impact, so the first ninety days go to the changes most likely to move qualified traffic rather than the changes easiest to bill.

Educational content, Google Search and the research stage

Educational content captures patients months before they are ready to name a surgeon. It rarely converts directly and it builds the website authority that makes procedure pages rank, which is why we measure it on assisted conversions rather than on last-click form submissions.

Landing pages and conversion rate optimization

Conversion rate optimization decides how much of your organic traffic becomes patient inquiries. Paid ads on Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram can buy traffic faster, but they stop the day the ad spend stops, which is why we treat them as a complement to organic rather than a substitute. Consultation request forms, visible phone numbers and honest cost information do more for conversion rates than any redesign, and we test them rather than assert them.

Local SEO for plastic surgery: the fastest route to booked consultations

Google Business Profile, Google Maps and local SEO for plastic surgery

Google Business Profile optimization drives Google Maps and map pack visibility. Categories, services, photos and a steady review cadence are the levers, and most practices are leaving all four unattended.

Local citations and medical directories

Local citation consistency across medical directories and general listings feeds the local signals that determine map pack placement. Inconsistent addresses are the most common cause of a practice underperforming locally despite good organic rankings.

Location pages and service areas

Location pages serve each of your service areas with content specific to that market rather than a template with the city name swapped. Thin location pages actively harm a site.

Multi-location practices and franchise SEO

Multi-location practices and franchise SEO programs need each location treated as its own local entity while sharing parent-brand authority. That is a site architecture problem rather than a content problem.

Off-page SEO, website authority and online reputation

Off-page SEO builds website authority through relevant backlinks, local citations, medical directories and digital PR rather than purchased links. Authority signals do more for a plastic surgery practice than for almost any other local business, because patients are selecting a surgeon rather than a supplier.

Link building here means clinical authorship, society listings, local press and genuine partnerships. Medical markets are scrutinized more heavily than most, and shortcuts carry a compliance risk as well as a ranking risk.

Online reputation and trust signals

Online reputation management keeps reviews current across Google, Healthgrades and the platforms patients actually read. Reviews feed both the local pack and the patient’s final decision, which makes them the rare asset that improves rankings and conversion at once.

AI visibility and answer engine optimization

How patients now ask

Patients ask ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and other answer engines which surgeon to see, and those systems cite pages rather than rank them. A practice can hold its keyword rankings while losing the answer sitting above them.

Answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization

Answer engine optimization and generative engine optimization are a different reading of the same page rather than a separate discipline: clear factual statements, explicit entity relationships, structured data, and content that answers a question completely in one place. We track AI visibility alongside organic rankings, and we do not sell AI SEO as a separate product.

Plastic surgery SEO packages and what they cost

Our plastic surgery SEO packages run $2,000 to $6,000 a month, set by page count, location count and market competition. We quote a range before a discovery call rather than after it.

Why published prices from every plastic surgery SEO agency are not comparable

Published rates span two orders of magnitude. Plans under $500 a month describe a website product rather than an SEO retainer. Budget bands running past $50,000 describe enterprise programs. A single-location practice with fifteen procedure pages needs neither. Ask any agency what the content production, link building and ad spend inside a quoted retainer actually are, and whether web design work its plan assumes is included.

How long does plastic surgery SEO take

Plastic surgery SEO services are a compounding investment rather than a switch. Movement in keyword rankings usually appears within three to four months. Meaningful patient leads and booked consultations typically follow between month six and month twelve, sooner for a practice with existing authority and slower for a new domain in competitive markets such as Los Angeles or Beverly Hills. Any agency promising page one in sixty days is describing a keyword nobody searches.

Search "plastic surgery SEO services" and most of what Google returns is not an agency competing for the work. Of the fifty results read on 2026-09-22, the top of the page is dominated by listicles and blog posts about the market rather than firms operating in it, and one of the highest-ranking pages sits on a practicing surgeon's own website.

A ranking built on that SERP would measure article production, not agency capability. So this page publishes a measurement instead. Fifteen agencies are measured here: the fourteen best-ranked genuine agency service pages for the query, plus ProStar SEO, which publishes this index and is measured by the same instrument at its real rank.

Each row is computed from that agency's own page and its own public record. The SEO Contextual Density Index scores every page against one list of 311 market terms, built by rule from the competitor pages and the Semrush variation set with the publisher's page excluded from the list construction. No row is computed from another row, so a competitor rewriting its page cannot move anyone else's score.

What the plastic surgery SEO market actually publishes

The research behind the characteristics table is not flattering to this market. Only two of fifteen agencies name a plastic surgery client anywhere on the page Google ranks: Studio III Marketing references an Athenix case study, and NKP Medical carries a testimonial from a named practice. Six publish a price or a band. Two state a founding year. None publish team size on the ranked page.

Several figures that read like results are not results. Market statistics about local pack click share and patient research behavior appear on multiple pages framed as evidence of what the agency delivers. Growth percentages appear without a named practice attached. Every such figure is marked in the evidence column rather than printed as a case study, because the characteristics table is exactly where that distinction gets laundered if nobody is watching.

Published pricing spans two orders of magnitude, from stated plans under $500 a month to budget bands running past $50,000. Those numbers are not comparable to one another, and the table says so where a stated price appears to describe a website product rather than an SEO retainer.

Contextual density, and why it is the center of this index

Contextual density measures how much of a market's vocabulary a page actually carries, relative to its length. A page can rank for a term it mentions once. It rarely competes for a market it only gestures at. Density is the single figure that separates a page written about plastic surgery SEO from a page written around the phrase.

The index does not reward density without limit. The score passes contextual density through a saturation curve, so a page at this cohort's median of 45.7 percent scores near the middle of the scale and a page at twice that gains very little. The intent is to reward a page that covers its market, not a page that repeats it.

Efficiency is the counterweight. It caps the repetition index at three, which means a page saying the same fifty things over and over is penalized however dense it looks. Coverage and efficiency pull in opposite directions on purpose, and a page has to satisfy both.

Who shows up in AI answers

AI presence here is a countable figure: the number of US keywords for which Google's AI Overview cites each domain, from the Semrush index on 2026-09-23. Nothing is scored from it; it's printed because a buyer choosing an SEO agency in 2026 wants to know who the machines already quote. Thrive Internet Marketing Agency is cited on 9,172 keywords, OuterBox is cited on 2,356 keywords, ProStar SEO on 127. Bars are log-scaled, so a bar half as long is roughly a count forty times smaller.

What you'd want to know before calling them

Nothing in this table is scored. It's the set of facts the ranking pages on this query print about each agency, collected the same way for all fifteen and tagged by source in each column header: stated means the agency says so on its own site and the bracket links to where; public record means Google Maps or Clutch; a measured count comes from the Semrush index on the pull date. Where a fact isn't public it says so rather than guessing.

Characteristics of the 15 agencies, collected 2026-09-22 from the page Google ranked. Every fact carries a link to where the agency states it. Where a firm publishes nothing for a field the cell says so rather than guessing, and blanks are common in this market: only two of fifteen name a plastic surgery client on the ranked page.

ProStar SEO: the measured page, above the fold, captured 2026-09-23
prostarseo.com/en/plastic-surgery-seo · live US position 999 on 2026-09-23

Who they are. ProStar SEO is a bilingual Quebec agency working across regulated and competitive verticals including plastic surgery, healthcare, casino, cannabis, firearms and adult. It publishes its plastic surgery packages at $2,000 to $6,000 a month and states two quantified practice results. It publishes this index and is measured by it.

Who they sell to (industries as listed by the agency): Bilingual agency across regulated and competitive verticals including plastic surgery, healthcare, casino, cannabis, firearms and adult.

What the measurement says. The measured page uses 246 of the 311 market terms (79% coverage) over 5,106 words at 36.70% contextual density, repeating each term 5.35 times on average, ProStar SEO publishes this index and appears in it. Its row was measured by the same script against the same list, on the live page, on the edition date, and is printed at its real rank. Publishing this table changed the publisher's own page after that reading, so the publisher row describes the page as it stood when the results were captured, not the page you are reading. The next monthly recompute settles it.

What they say about themselves. Services listed: SEO, Local SEO, Technical SEO, Content, LLM and AI answer optimization, Web design. No client names on the site. Pricing: States plastic surgery SEO packages run $2,000 to $6,000 a month, set by page count, location count and market. One quantified claim, verbatim: “States a practice went from zero to 1,494 ranking keywords in twelve months with more than 80 first-page positions and a 520% year-over-year rise in organic clicks, and a Montreal aesthetic surgery clinic grew from 1,152 to more than 4,800 ranking keywords”.

Best for (our reading): Practices that want published pricing, English and French coverage, and an agency that publishes its own measurement rather than claiming a ranking.

2. SEO Guru Atlanta

Plastic surgery SCDI#2 of 1561.7prostarseo.com · SEO Contextual Density Index
SEO Guru Atlanta: the measured page, above the fold, captured 2026-09-23
seoguruatlanta.com/industries-we-serve/plastic-surgery-seo/ · live US position 32 on 2026-09-23

Who they are. SEO Guru Atlanta is a Georgia agency selling SEO, PPC, web design and content across a long list of local service industries, with plastic surgery one page among podiatry, dental, plumbing, roofing and HVAC. Its plastic surgery page is written tightly around the vertical, with procedure-aware copy and a plastic surgery FAQ, and it places more of the market's vocabulary in headings than almost anyone else here.

Who they sell to (industries as listed by the agency): Healthcare, podiatry, dental, weight loss, plumbing, roofing, HVAC, landscaping, siding and window contractors.

What the measurement says. The measured page uses 180 of the 311 market terms (58% coverage) over 2,310 words at 46.69% contextual density, repeating each term 4.66 times on average, its strongest pillar is density at 82 and its weakest is structure at 46, and it sits at position 32 on Google against 2 here, so the page is stronger than the domain carrying it.

What they say about themselves. Services listed: SEO, SMO, PPC, Website design, Content writing, Link building and off-page SEO, AI SEO services. No client names on the site. Pricing: not published on the measured page. One quantified claim, verbatim: “States early movement in rankings within 60 to 90 days and stronger results over 3 to 6 months; no named plastic surgery result on the page”.

How to take first place on this table

The runner-up, SEO Guru Atlanta, sits 6.9 points behind. With every other pillar unchanged, closing that gap through coverage alone means covering 53 more of the 311 terms on the published list. The list, each term's document frequency across the cohort, the measuring script and its checksum are on the methodology page. Any agency on this table can request a re-measurement; the result is printed, with the date, whatever it shows.

How to choose a plastic surgery SEO agency

A high index score means a page covers its market's vocabulary, places that vocabulary where search engines weight it, and does so without padding. It does not mean the agency will grow your practice. Read the score as evidence of craft on the one artifact every agency controls completely, and read the characteristics table for everything the score cannot see.

Ask what the agency has actually done in this vertical rather than what it says about the vertical. A named practice, a quantified result attached to that practice, and a reference you can call are worth more than any measurement on this page. Two agencies here can produce the first. Fewer can produce the third.

Weigh business model against your needs. A medical-only agency, a white-label provider selling to other agencies, a generalist local shop and an offshore firm are all represented in this cohort, and they are not substitutes for one another. Where an agency's Google listing measures a different business than the one selling you SEO, the footprint pillar is measuring something other than reputation in this market, and the table flags it.

Questions to ask before hiring

Which plastic surgery practices have you worked with, and may I speak to one? The single most useful question on this list. Most pages in this cohort cannot answer it with a name. An agency that can should be able to produce the practice, the timeframe and a contact without a follow-up email.

What did the traffic look like before you started, and what does it look like now? Growth percentages without a baseline are unfalsifiable. A real answer includes the starting number, the ending number, the period, and whether the change was organic or paid.

Is the number you just quoted your client's result or an industry statistic? Several pages in this cohort cite market research in positions where a reader expects a client outcome. The distinction should be immediate and unembarrassed.

What does the engagement cost, and what is included at that price? Six of fifteen publish anything at all. A firm that will not state a range before a discovery call is not necessarily hiding something, but a firm that states one has already answered the question every buyer opens with.

Who writes the content, and does a clinician review it? Plastic surgery content carries medical claims. Ask who drafts it, who checks it, and what happens when the surgeon disagrees with the writer.

How will you report, and what happens when results are flat? Reporting cadence is easy to promise. The useful answer describes what the agency does in month five when rankings have not moved.

Updates: positions re-checked weekly against the live SERP; the full index is recomputed monthly. This edition was recomputed on 2026-09-23 against a rebuilt 311-term list after one cohort member was excluded on the business-model rule. The cohort is the fourteen agency service pages in the live SERP, captured from Chrome, gl=us, hl=en, personalization off, depth 50 (United States, the default), read to position 50, plus the publisher; listicles, blog posts, directories and dead URLs are excluded and listed on the methodology page. A top-5 page that can't be fetched is measured from an HTML file requested from the agency, never skipped and never estimated. Every page was measured with cd_metrics 3.5.2 in whole-body mode. The 311-term list (built by rule from the competitor pages and the Semrush variation set, brand names excluded), the five weights and the constants (k = 10, R₀ = 3, footprint ceilings 10,000 and 500) are frozen at index 4.1; any change will be versioned here rather than applied quietly.

Reading the table

Five pillars make the score and four of them measure the page. Coverage counts how many of the 311 market terms the page uses at least once and carries forty percent of the weight. Density passes contextual density through a saturation curve, so a page at this cohort's median scores near the middle of the scale rather than at the top. Efficiency caps the repetition index at three, rewarding a page that varies its vocabulary over one that repeats a narrow set of terms. Structure counts the list terms reaching the title tag or an H1 to H3.

Footprint is the only pillar that measures the firm rather than the page. It averages branded search volume and Google reviews weighted by rating, both log-scaled against fixed ceilings so a national brand cannot decide the table on its own. Where an agency has no measurable branded demand, or where its Google listing belongs to a different business, the pillar reports that rather than borrowing a number from somewhere else.

The divergence between the index and Google's own ordering is the most interesting thing on this page. Several pages that measure well rank poorly, and the reverse holds too. That gap is the argument for measuring pages directly rather than inferring quality from position.

Results we can show

We publish two quantified results. One practice went from zero to 1,494 ranking keywords in twelve months, with more than eighty first-page positions and a 520 percent year-over-year rise in organic clicks. A Montreal aesthetic surgery clinic grew from 1,152 to more than 4,800 ranking keywords.

Neither figure names the practice, and we say so rather than implying a case study we cannot show. Ask us for a reference during the sales process and we will arrange one. Ask every agency on your shortlist the same question and notice how many can answer it: on the pages Google currently ranks for plastic surgery SEO services, only two of fifteen agencies name a plastic surgery client at all.

What we do not claim

Several figures circulating in this market are industry statistics rather than client outcomes. Local pack click share, the proportion of patients who research online, and conversion rate benchmarks are real research, and none is evidence that an agency delivered anything. Where we cite market data we label it as market data.

How we report

Transparent reporting

Reporting is monthly and shows keyword rankings, organic traffic, local pack visibility, form submissions and calls. Transparent reporting also means reporting flat months as flat months. If rankings have not moved by month five we will tell you what we think is blocking them and what we propose to change.

Who does the work

ProStar SEO operates from Quebec City with offices in Montreal, Toronto and Calgary, and works in English and French. Our Google rating is 4.8 across 37 reviews spanning three listings. A dedicated contact runs your program, and the people who write your content are the people who researched it.

How to choose the best plastic surgery SEO company for your practice

An SEO company for plastic surgery is not one kind of business

Search for the best plastic surgery SEO companies and you will get four different businesses wearing the same label. Some are medical-only agencies. Some are generalist local shops selling plastic surgery alongside plumbing and roofing. Some are white-label providers whose real customers are other agencies. Some are offshore firms competing on price. Each model can work and each fails differently, so decide which you are buying before comparing prices.

Five questions that separate a plastic surgery SEO expert from a generalist

Which plastic surgery practices have you worked with, and may I speak to one. What did the traffic look like before you started and what does it look like now. Is the number you just quoted your client’s result or an industry statistic. What does the engagement cost and what is included. Who writes the content, and does a clinician review it before it publishes.

We measure ourselves with the same instrument

We publish the SEO Contextual Density Index, which scores this page and the pages of fourteen competing agencies against one list of market terms, using one script, on the same day. Coverage counts how many market terms a page uses. Density measures how concentrated that vocabulary is. Efficiency penalizes a page for repeating itself. Structure counts terms reaching a title or heading. Footprint measures branded search demand and Google reviews.

Our row is printed at whatever rank the measurement produces, including editions where we did not place first. The term list, its document frequencies, the weights and the constants are published on the methodology page so any agency measured can reproduce the result or contest it. An agency ranking itself first without showing the instrument has told you nothing you can check.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with dermatology practices and med spas as well as surgical practices? Yes, though the patient journey is shorter and the market more local, so the strategies differ.

Can you work alongside our existing agency? Yes. We routinely run SEO alongside another firm’s paid ads or social media marketing, with the boundary agreed in writing before work starts.

What happens to the content if we stop working together? Everything we produce belongs to the practice, including content, technical fixes and reporting history.

Do you guarantee first page rankings? No, and neither can anyone else. We will tell you before you sign whether your targets are reachable at the budget discussed, and we have declined engagements where they were not.

Start with the audit, then decide

The first step is a website audit of your practice site against your market and your competitors. It tells you what is blocking current rankings, where the content gaps are, and what a realistic timeline looks like at what investment. If we are not the right agency for your practice, the audit is still worth having.

Plastic surgery SEO packages from $2,000 to $6,000 a month, English and French, with the measurement published. If you are comparing plastic surgery marketing and SEO services across several firms, bring this page’s numbers to the conversation and ask the others for theirs.
